Sravan Veerapanane is a senior majoring in business administration. His work experience in health care consists of a marketing internship at a biotech company in India and an IT internship at Cardinal Health. He also worked at HD Supply in the summer of 2009. Upon graduation, Sravan plans to earn his MBA and eventually enter the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. |

Lauren Evans – Co-President | |

Lauren Evans is a senior majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at the Keck School of Medicine. Last semester she served as the VP of Membership in HCBC and is very excited to be Co-President. She has been currently working for Associate Dean Cody of the USC College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences since her sophomore year. Lauren has been an active member of her Sorority Alpha Phi since freshman year. Her other USC activities include Trojan Health Volunteers for the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at the University Hospital and shadowing at USC Physical Therapy Associates in the Health Science Campus. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading at the beach. After USC, Lauren hopes to earn her Masters of Medical Science in order to become a Physician’s Assistant. |

Scott Leimkuhler is a senior at the University of Southern California. He is a Business Administration major in the Marshall School of Business. His business concentration is in Entrepreneurship in the Lloyd Grief School of Entrepreneurship. Scott is also pursuing a minor in Health Care Policy and Management. He is an active member in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. In the summer of 2008 he worked for Global Hunter Securities as an Analyst Intern. He worked as an intern in the accounting and finance department for Molina Healthcare in 2009. |

Chirag Desai is a junior majoring in business administration with a minor in natural sciences. Aside from previous ambulance experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, his exposure to the healthcare field involves research at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and participation in the Peer Health Educator program at the student health center. Upon graduation, Chirag plans to attend medical school and eventually enter the field of hospital administration.

Bianca Gandhi is a senior at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. She is a Business Administration major with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Bianca has a strong background and interest within the Health Care Industry and would love to pursue it further. In the summer of 2008 she worked for The Disney company as a Finance Intern. |

JiaJia Zhu is a Junior majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Business Administration. Her previous knowledge in healthcare includes research opportunities at Viterbi as well as physician-shadowing at LAC-USC Hospital. She is also the Director of Health Relations for the Children’s Hospital LA-affiliated philanthropic organization, TrojanDM. JiaJia is involved with JEP’s Science Program and is a member of USC Repertory Dance Company. Upon graduation, she hopes to obtain her MS in Global Medicine before applying to medical school. |

Ayushi Gummadi is a sophomore majoring in Business Administration-International Relations. She has been actively involved in the USC community by working with organizations like JEP, Marshall Student Ambassadors, Community Health Involvement Project, Peer Mediation, ATPS, as well as serving as the junior Pan-Hellenic delegate for Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Upon graduation, Ayushi intends to attend medical school and work in international healthcare, through institutions such as the World Health Organization, and she is eager to discover the opportunities available within the health care industry. |

Melanie Castillo is a junior majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention with a minor in Health Policy and Management. Melanie is involved in research with the USC Institute for Health Promotion & Disease Prevention and is the Director of Internal Affairs of the Mexican American Alumni Association. She has had summer internships at the Orange County Health Care Agency, City National Bank, and Conexion. Her most recent work experience is working with Kaiser Permanente. She enjoys dancing, tennis, kickboxing and the beach. After graduating, Melanie intends to pursue a Master's in Health Administration at USC and aspires to become an executive administrator at a major healthcare organization. |

Jonathan Weil – Vice President of Information Technology | |

Jonathan Weil is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management. He is currently working as a Business Intelligence Consultant and has interned with companies such as DIRECTV, Union Bank and Morgan Stanley. He is interested in how the Health Care Industry will utilize information technology to plan for changes in government regulations and to manage company performance. He plans to enter the workforce upon graduating in December and to pursue graduate studies in the future. |

Trevor Kaufman – Founder and Advisor | |

Trevor Kaufman is the Founder and first Chief Executive Officer of the USC Health Care Business Club. He is currently an advisor to the Club. He established the Club because he believes strongly that the continuous expansion and changes in the healthcare sector create exciting, important, and rewarding career opportunities. Trevor graduated Cum Laude with honors from the Marshall School of Business this past May. While at USC, he was Vice President of the Golden Key Honor Society and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a business honor society. He has had summer internships at Merrill Lynch, PacifiCare, and Allergan. Trevor intends to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. |

Lars Perner is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Marketing and received his Ph.D. in marketing from the Marshall School of Business in 1998. His research interests focus on non-profit marketing, sponsored fundraising, consumer beheavior, consumer price response, branding, and bargain hunting. |
